During the World Show of watches and jewellery BASELWORLD
(April, 15-22,
2004, Basel) for the first time there will be presented the official
exposition
“RUSSIAN WATCH INDUSTRY – TIME WITHOUT BORDERS”.
The exposition is organized at the initiative and with the support of the Ministry of
Industry, Science and Technologies, the Ministry of Economic Development and
Trade of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow and the Chamber of
Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The exposition welcomes 12 companies that deal with watch and clock
manufacturing and besides with movements production.
The exposition consists of:
- exhibition space, where the leading watch factories and small enterprises
will present watches and movements. Russian movements with quality and
competitive prices were always in popular demand at the world market.
- business-zone for meetings and negotiations. Also here will presented the
photo-gallery of the most significant and interesting Moscow city-clocks.
- conference-hall where the presentations of the Russian watch industry will
be held.
There is a Russian proverb : “There is a time for everything”.
And the exposition “RUSSIAN WATCH INDUSTRY-TIME WITHOUT BORDERS” at the
BASELWORLD is a time for Russian watch industry to broaden its frames !
