Penza watch factory founded in 1940 is the enterprise of the complete working cycle. Issuing watches, movements and other devices of fine mechanics for more than 60 years the factory has increased its industrial, scientific and technical potential allowing it to master producing of more complex and perfect items of the trade mark "Zaria".

Due to the fact that the only Russian State University with the department preparing experts specializing on timepieces is located in Penza, the factory is constantly replenished with highly skilled staff. At present the factory capacities allow it to issue up to 100 thousand pieces of watches monthly, to respond to demands of consumers quickly, putting on the market more than 60 types of watch cases in various platings.

The firm has the Testing Center "Zaria" with the Federal Standard of Russia accreditation for the right of carrying out tests on timepieces. In 2002 and 2003 watches "Zaria" produced by Penza watch factory got the Diploma of Competition "100 Best Goods of Russia" what confirms the high quality of the produced watches and the level of manufacturing of the factory.
